Allie hopped right into Warren & Barbara's SUV and moved to Colorado. I told her they were coming for her and she didn't even bother to say goodbye...

Vizir De Balthazar 8-28-04 to 1-6-09
Balthazar was the most wounded, opinionated Alpha Male Briard I have ever met. He taught me that a truce can lead to respect which can grow into Love. He will be missed.
January 04, 2009
Balthazar is totally blind. He refuses to leave his kennel area. This is going to make it hard to take him to the vet.
January 01, 2009
Balthazar has gone downhill faster than I expected. He is not seeing well at all. While he is still eating, he will stay inside more than normal.
BRIARD RESCUE and HAVEN is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation established to provide a safe place for Briard dogs, and the occasional Briard wannabee, during their time of transition. It is a place for rehabilitation and care of Briards who find themselves without a home for any reason. No Briard will be turned away. The Haven is a privately run facility, funded by private donations, Ebay auctions, adoption fees and bequests.
If you wish to be considered as an adoptive home, please fill out our online Adoption Application, or use the printable Adoption Application, fill it out, and mail it to me. No one will be considered for a Rescue Briard without submitting an application.
Briard rescue dogs are placed with suitable families from the waiting list of applicants. If no match can be made, then they are listed on the Web Site.
